What is the Usability Metric for User Experience Lite?
The UMUX-Lite is a usability questionnaire and a direct descendant of UMUX, it assumes that user acceptance of a new technology is based on its perceived usefulness (This system’s capabilities meet my requirements) and perceived ease of use (This system easy to use). Similar to the Technology Acceptance Model.
What is the formula or calculation method for UMUX-Lite?
To calculate the UMUX-Lite score for each user, the following steps are followed:
- Add the scores of the two questions provided by the user.
- Subtract 2 from the total obtained in step 1.
- Multiply the result by 100/12 or 8.33 to normalise the score (bring it on a scale from 0 to 100).
To obtain the UMUX-Lite score for the entire system, the average of all user UMUX scores is calculated.
